The International Union of Journalists supports the Tunisian Press Syndicate
The leader of the National Syndicate of Tunisian Journalists received in 13 June a letter from the secretary general of The International Union of Journalists, in which this latter called on Tunisian journalists to unify their efforts to defend their profession and syndicate against all forms of political interference
and to adopt dialogue to settle their conflicts, insisting on the Union’s backing up of Tunisian journalists in their defence of their professional demands and its support of the syndicate in its struggle for independence. The International Union of Journalists had sent a letter to the Arab Union of Journalists to protest against its position on the Tunisian Syndicate crisis.
